SCA has 2 facets: 1) Hybrid Academics and 2) Homeschool Enrichment. Our Tues/Weds Hybrid Academic program serves as an umbrella school, coming alongside Christian families in the core subject education of their children. Our Thursday Homeschool Enrichment Program is open to our academic families and families who independently homeschool.
Church-Based Hybrid
You have time for that trip to the mountains! SCA meets on-site Tues/Weds/Thurs. Depending on your enrollment choice, attend 1-3 days a week!
Curricula Covered
SCA Academics maps out the full curricula scope and sequence - providing comprehensive support in planning, teaching, and grading. The time-tested Classical Christian education philosophy affirms a biblical worldview.
Cost-Affordable
The low overhead church-hosted design gives parents and students everything they need (and nothing they don't) at a reasonable price.
The best of school and home.
Christian families desire a biblically-rooted education for their children. However, traditional Christian schooling options, especially in South Metro Denver, are expensive and often inflexible.
Southside Classical Academy combines the expertise and accountability of a rigorous classical school with the flexibility and nurturing of homeschooling. Students meet in person 1-2 days per week for instruction and tutoring, with the option of a Thursday enrichment add-on. The remainder of the week, students are completing assigned work at home under parental guidance. Full-time students, full-time support, part-time at school.
Equipping students for every good work.
Cultivating a love of wisdom and learning, we desire to see each student deepen their love of the Lord, passion for learning, and strength of character.

Primary Academy (K-2)
Meets on Tuesdays; Optional Guided Study on Wednesdays
Southside Classical Primary Academy is designed to prepare students for the Grammar Level of SCA. Students learn similar material to our Grammar Level, but without the pressure of formal grading. Classical subjects are taught with creative and hands-on methods.
Grammar Levels (3-6)
Meets on Tuesdays; Optional Guided Study on Wednesdays
The Grammar stage provides the foundation for future classical studies by building a framework of knowledge through each subject area (Art, Bible, Grammar, Latin/Greek, Literature, Science, World History). Questions of who, what, where, and when are the focus, and memorization is a key part of learning. At SCA we give students context for what they're memorizing because it lays a strong foundation for future learning in the Logic level.

Logic Stage (7-8)
The Logic stage builds upon the Grammar stage. The goal is to equip students with the critical thinking skills necessary to recognize sound arguments and ideas, and to detect and correct fallacious ones. This stage addresses the questions of how and why. On-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required.

Our Thursday Enrichment program offers Art, Music, Science Lab, Physical Education, American Sign Language, and more! This program is an option for families who independently homeschool as well as families enrolled in our academics program.
